Summary: Finally a manager at age 35, Asahi Maebashi seems to have it all. People think she’s gorgeous, and everyone knows how good she is at her job. Now if only she could have as much confidence in the bedroom… but is it any surprise she has given up on love and marriage after her husband divorced her for her lack of skills in the boudoir? Asahi is determined to be celibate, but now she has a new burning desire… to see a man touch himself while looking at her! As fate would have it, she meets 29-year-old Kouya Kisarazu, a hot, but the slightly narcissistic director, through work. He doesn’t seem inexperienced with women, but after a traumatic past, he is so insecure in that arena, that he has already had enough! He would like a woman to watch him spank his monkey, though!! Realizing this is a win-win situation, the two release their inner freaks and help each other out…

Opinion: Imagine going in for a throw-away/funny smut series and coming back with absolute emotional damage. That’s what it feels like to read Show It to Me Baby!
The art is honestly the worst part of this series. I think it could absolutely be a 5/5 if the art were better but it’s very plain and sketchy I’m not the biggest fan.
The series is fantastic as a slice of life josei. It starts with more smut than plot but eventually shifts in the opposite direction. We follow the heroine who is a 30 year old divorcee trying her best to succeed in her career. She struggles to keep up with relationships due to her career-centred life and eventually covers issues like age gap relationships and the complexity of deciding when to have kids.
I found this series a few months after being laid off from a job I had for almost a decade. My heart broke and I definitely cried real tears along with the heroine as her career backfires despite abandoning other parts of her life to focus on it. This series was incredibly cathartic in that sense.
If you’re a fan of mature slice-of-life series I highly recommend this. Without spoilers there is a heavy love triangle so I would skip if you find those frustrating.
