Opinion: At first after the first volume I was feeling luke warm. It just felt like it under delivered on all fronts. But by the third volume it felt something bubbling that was super unique and I’m hooked.

Art is fantastic and very unique to the mangaka. It feels very modern and in terms of print copies the books themselves in English are very luxe. I’m excited to collect this series.

So their alternate personalities don’t shine through as obviously as other series within the genre so it felt a bit weak at first. I think the real pull comes from this first love/confident and popular heroine being turned down (sorry mini spoiler) that makes it very interesting. The heroine is fun and confident it’s been great following her as she realizes she’s falling in love and how she approaches it.

At 3 volumes it’s still early but I’m craving more!

Opinion: I’ll be the first to admit I’m not the biggest fan of the “Otome Villainess Isekai”. A lot of the otome isekai series I’ve read are just too hokey, but I’ve fallen for this series just based on the comedy.

The art is unreal, I don’t think I would have bought this series or continued it if the art wasn’t so good. Very detailed, great job creating the fantasy and royalty atmosphere. Face proportions can sometimes be odd but overall it’s a gorgeous series.

The heroine is so annoying and meek. That said the world building is so interesting and it drops a lot of the otome stuff early on. The real reason to stay is how hilarious the series is. Every chapter I’m laughing at loud, howling at the male leads obsession and the lengths he goes to be with the heroine.

That is all to add this is a pretty graphic smut (H) series and honestly good plot is hard to find in that genre.
