Opinion: Let me start by saying I have only read one volume and I love this series. The pacing, the characters, the plot points, everything. This is a great, well thought out shoujo series. It is owned by Kodansha in Japan so I’m really PRAYING this not only gets licensed in NA, but is released in print. (Fingers Crossed)

The art is very sleek and mature. The artist has their own very unique style and it shows. She has a very specific heroine that is supposed to be beautiful but also is often mistaken for a guy. I think she does an amazing job. Both the heroine and the male lead are breath taking.

The masculine female isn’t a brand new trope, but it is definitely rare. Of the few series in that trope very few do what this series has done. This series is a great slice of life with a genuine and serious heroine who happens to be handsome. The male lead is rebellious but gentle at the same time.

I’ve only read one volume but I’m smitten. Cannot wait for more! Highly recommended series.

Final Rating: 5/5
